Ceramics 1 final

This was my most successful project. The theme of it was for Mother's Day since my moms names heather. The size of it for perfectly and every choice I made on this was perfect. It looks so nice  . My techniques I used was smoothing and scoop and score .  I could've made the H better by actually using a stencil but I didn't and chose not to .  I wish I would've though because that could've made this a A plus project . This was my favorite

The fruit goblet project would have to be the project where I overcame the most obstacles . It kept falling apart , and I'd have to remake the parts and then stick them back where they would fit so they wouldn't fall apart. I was taking risks by placing each of the pinch pots on top of eachother so that I could make a nice figure . By taking that risk it could've collapsed or even just brake in half . It made me a better artist by knowing when to and not to place objects beside , on top or beneath a object.

These are the 2 pieces id say that shows my growth as an artist . The first piece I used a smoother , a knife , and a pin tool . The second one I just used a knife and slabs to . My techniques in these were totaly different from eachother . As the first project I'm just smoothing and carving as the first one I'm just rolling slabs . I tried my best in each of these .

It was more effective in my learning experience because I never new how to do anything and now I feel like I can make anything . I didn't know how to make amyt of these things .
